Breakdown:
Eric Page started getting attention after a great junior season in 2007. He rushed for 2,039 yards and 23 touchdowns, while throwing for 1,137 yards and 17 touchdowns. As a senior in 2008, Page is having another outstanding season. He has rushed for 2,383 yards and 33 touchdowns, while throwing for just over 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns through 10 games. Page litterally led his team to victory several times this season. He rushed for 318 yards in Springfield's last game against Perrysburg. Page is expected to play slot receiver and return kicks for Toledo.

Richard Drake is a speedster wide receiver from Stone Mountain, Georgia. The 6-3 wideout has an excellent mix of size and speed to fit Toledo's new spread offense. He committed to Toledo after his official visit during the weekend of December 12th. He chose Toledo over offers from Central Michigan, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, and Tennessee State. He was recruited by assistant coach Paul Nichols.

Coach Tim Beckman's staff was quick to start recruiting Perez to Toledo and offer him a scholarship. Ashford visited Toledo over the weekend (12/12/2008) and is considering Toledo among several other schools that have offered him a scholarship.

Micah Hyde is being recruited as an athlete that could play wide receiver or defensive back. Toledo recently made an in-home visit to Hyde. He received an offer earlier in the year from Cincinnati, but they have since called him and told him they are full at his positions. He also received an offer from Northwestern, but they have now filled his positions. He has offers from most of the MAC and is still hearing from a few Big Ten schools that might yet offer him. He does not have a timeframe yet for making a decision.
