Boswell Sets First Official Visit

Robert Boswell is a 5-9 and 175 pound athlete with excellent speed. The Orange Park, FL native helped lead Fleming Island to a 10-3 record this year, scoring 16 total touchdowns and racking up 964 yards rushing and 447 yards receiving. On the recruiting front, Boswell has already scheduled one official visit.

Robert Boswell is a 5-9, 175 pound athlete from Fleming Island High School in Orange Park, FL that can play defensive back, wide receiver, or running back. He currently has offers from Toledo, Troy, Middle Tennessee, and FIU. Toledo recruiting coordinator Alex Golesh is recruiting Boswell as an athlete for the Rockets. So far his only scheduled visit is to Toledo. "I have an official to Toledo first week of January," said Boswell.

Despite only having an official visit to Toledo scheduled, Boswell does not have any favorites. "I want to take a visit to all of those schools (Toledo, Troy, MTSU, and FIU) and whatever one I like the best, I'll go from there."

Boswell has excellent speed, clocked at 4.32 in the forty yard dash. At the combine in Orlando this summer, Boswell was clocked at 4.32 in the forty and 4.50 short shuttle. He also has a 32 inch vertical jump.

This fall Boswell helped Fleming Island High School to a 10-3 record and appearance in the state regionals. Boswell rushed for 964 yards this season, but was 2nd on the team to Malcolm Jones (1,449 yards) who also has an offer from Toledo. Boswell averaged 9.4 yards per rush and scored 11 rushing touchdowns.

He was also 2nd on the team in receptions with 29 catches for 447 yards and 5 TD's. Defensively Robert had 12 tackles.
