Toledo battled back from a 9 point deficit at halftime, but a 3-pointer by Oakland's Erik Kangas put Oakland ahead 40-37 with 8:31 to play in the 2nd half and they never looked back on their way to a 67-58 victory over Toledo.

Oakland, MI - Toledo battled back from a 9 point deficit at halftime, but a 3-pointer by Oakland's Erik Kangas put Oakland ahead 40-37 with 8:31 to play in the 2nd half and they never looked back on their way to a 67-58 victory over Toledo.

Tyrone Kent led the Rockets with 13 points, while Anthony Byrd scored 12 points and Jonathan Amos added 11 points.

Justin Anyijong added 8 points, Ridley Johnson scored 6 points, Mohamed Lo scored 4 points, and Larry Bastfield scored 4 points as well for the Rockets.

Jonathan Amos grabbed 11 rebounds, and no other Rocket had more than 4 rebounds for the game.

Toledo shot 41.9% from the field and did not attempt a single free throw in the game. Oakland shot 42.3% from the field and was 16 of 22 from the foul line.

Next up for the 2-6 Rockets is a game at Wright State on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00pm.
