Rockets Lose Heartbreaker, 24-23 to Chips

Toledo punted the ball on 4th and 10 near midfield with about 4 minutes left in the game, and never got the ball back, losing to Central Michigan 24-23. A tough loss for the Rockets, despite fighting hard against the two-time defending MAC champions.

Toledo punted the ball on 4th and 10 near midfield with about 4 minutes left in the game, and never got the ball back, losing to Central Michigan 24-23. A tough loss for the Rockets, despite fighting hard against the two-time defending MAC champions.

Toledo scored two offensive touchdowns for the first time since the Fresno State game on September 20th. Aaron Opelt threw a 35 yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Nick Moore, Opelt's first TD pass since the Fresno State game.

Toledo is off next week, and then plays at Akron on Wednesday, November 5th. The game will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU at 8:00pm.
