University of Toledo head football coach Tom Amstutz announced today that senior defensive lineman Sean Williamson has been suspended for the rest of the season for a violation of team rules. Williamson has 20 tackles and 2 sacks on the season for Toledo.

University of Toledo head football coach Tom Amstutz announced today that senior defensive lineman Sean Williamson has been suspended for the rest of the season for a violation of team rules.

Williamson has 20 tackles and 2 sacks on the season for Toledo.

The suspension will end his playing career at Toledo. He recorded 105 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks over his career at Toledo. He played in 42 games, 35 as a starter, in five seasons at Toledo. He received a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA after missing 11 games in 2007 due to an injury suffered in the season opener against Purdue.
