1st Commit for 2009?

As the Rockets prepare for the 2008 season opener at Arizona, have they secured their first commitment for the 2009 recruiting class? Read on for more information about the possible first public commitment for the Toledo Rockets 2009 football recruiting class.

Various outlets are reporting that Kettering Alter star quarterback Austin Boucher has committed to the University of Toledo as part of the 2009 recruiting class.

Rocket Digest has learned that Austin committed to Toledo last weekend. Austin is 6-1 and 190 pounds, very similar to Aaron Opelt and Bruce Gradkowski when they were seniors in high school.

Boucher threw for 1,458 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior in 2007.
