Toledo, OH - University of Toledo Men’s Basketball Head Coach Gene Cross announced on Friday that freshmen Paul Becklens (Boston, MA) and Corey Bingham (Lynn, MA) have been dismissed from the program.

“Certain expectations are going to be placed for the players in our program both on and off the court,” Cross said. “Paul and Corey did not meet those expectations, and as a result will not be with our team next fall. I wish them well in their future endeavors.”

Becklens sat out the 2007-08 campaign after being ruled academically ineligible by the NCAA, while Bingham saw action in all 30 contests and averaged 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
