Sept. 6 Game Time Set

The University of Arizona has announced a tentatively scheduled start time of 7:00 MT for the Toledo Rockets season-opener scheduled for Sept. 7 in Tucson, Ariz. It's the first of two straight Rocket road games as the Midnight Blue and Gold open conference play at Eastern Michigan the following weekend.

The University of Toledo has received a tentative start time of 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time for its season-opening battle with the Arizona Wildcats on Sat., Sept. 6, 2008 in Tucson, Ariz.

It's the first of 12 Rocket football games in the 2008 campaign. Following the road game against Arizona, the Rockets stay on the road to open MAC play against Eastern Michigan University on Sept. 13.

On September 20th and 27th the Rockets host non-conference foes Fresno State and Florida International before opening the home portion of the MAC schedule against Ball State at the Glass Bowl on October 4.

The Rockets then return to the road for a pair of games, at Michigan and at Northern Illinois, before returning to Toledo for a critical MAC West tilt with the two-time MAC Champion Central Michigan Chippewa's on October 25.

The Rockets then travel to Akron and Western Michigan before concluding the regular season with home games against Miami University and rival Bowling Green State.
