The University of Toledo held their annual Junior Day last Saturday with over 100 high school juniors in attendance. Two of those in attenance were Cody Parker and Tony Koehling from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati, OH.

"It was really good even though I arrived late because I had a volleyball tournament," said Cody Parker. Parker is a 6-4, 245 pound tight end. He earned First Team All Greater Catholic League, All District Honorable Mention, and his school's MVP Special Teams Award as a junior this past season.

Cody has been favoring the University of Cincinnati for quite some time. After attending Toledo's Junior Day, have the Rockets moved up the list?

"I had one on one time with the recruiting coach," said Cody. "From what I saw it was really nice."

Cody has not received any offers yet, but is hearing from Cincinnati, Toledo, Syracuse, Iowa, Ohio University, Miami University, Akron, Louisville, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

Roger Bacon High School teammate Tony Koehling attended UT's Junior Day with Cody.

"Yes I made it up there and had a great time," said Tony. The 6-3, 290 pound offensive lineman has been getting recruited by Toledo assistant coach Mark Rhea.

Earlier today, Tony updated Rocket Digest on his trip to the University of Toledo for their Junior Day. "I really liked the campus and the coaching staff. I really liked the stadium. Professor Longenecker also gave a great talk to us."

While on campus, Tony got to talk to assistant coach Mark Rhea, as well as offensive line coach Stan Clayton. "I also met a few of the other coaches and graduate assistants," said Koehling.

Tony informed Rocket Digest hat he has visited Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, Miami University, Toledo, Vanderbilt, and Western Kentucky. He is also planning on going to Purdue sometime soon.

"My favorite three are probably Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, and Indiana with Toledo and Akron being close up there," Tony told Rocket Digest when asked which schools were his favorites.

Tony has not received any offers yet, but is hopeful to get one sometion soon.

Stay tuned to Rocket Digest over the coming months as we keep you updated on the recruitments of Cody Parker and Tony Koehling.
