Rockets to Host Kent State Saturday

Toledo's game against Kent State this Saturday has been moved to a Noon starting time in order to accomodate television. The Rockets will host the Golden Flashes in the MAC Game of the Week, to be aired on Fox Sports Ohio.

The Toledo Rockets men's basketball team will host Kent State this Saturday in a game that will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio. Gametime has been moved to Noon in order to accomodate the television deal.

After the men's game, the Lady Rockets will host the Bowling Green Lady Falcons in a game that is scheduled to tip-off at 2:30pm.

The lady Rockets are coming off of a 72-50 victory over Akron at Savage Hall Saturday afternoon. They will play at Kent State Wednesday evening before hosting Bowling Green on Saturday.

The Lady Rockets are 10-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

Before the men's team hosts Kent State in a MAC televised game, the Rockets travel to Akron, OH to take on the Zips in an important conference basketball game. That game is Wednesday evening. Toledo is 3-3 in conference play and are still looking for their first conference road victory of the season.

Akron will provide a very tough test though. The Zips are 14-5 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-American Conference.
