Nick Toth is a 6-4, 295 pound offensive lineman from Grand Rapids CC in Michigan. He originally committed to Eastern Michigan out of high school, but ended up going to the Grand Rapids Junior College instead. During his two years at Grand Rapids CC, Toth has become a very good center on the offensive line. He was named to the JC-Gridwire All-American Team at the beginning of the season. However, he struggled with some injuries throughout the 2007 season and did not get the kind of publicity he was hoping for. "I have a couple of Division I-AA and Division II offers," Nick Toth told Rocket Digest. He went on, "I thought I was going to get an offer from Toledo, but it hasn't happened yet." Nick has been hearing from Southern Miss, Troy, Rutgers, and Buffalo as well. Toledo is not out of the picture either. "Toledo is supposed to call in a couple of weeks to let me know if they have a spot for me," said Toth. Despite the offers from Division I-AA (D-I Championship Subdivision) and Division II, Toth is holding out for something more. "Central Connecticut State has offered me, but I am waiting to go Division I-A because I know I can compete and make a difference on the offensive line at a I-A school," Toth told Rocket Digest. Nick will be graduating from Grand Rapids CC in May. He will have two years of eligibility remaining. |
