Toledo Announces $1 Million Donation

The University of Toledo has announced today that a $1 Million gift has been donated from Hal and Susan Fetterman. The gift has been earmarked for the indoor practice facility that will be built by Savage Hall, with an expected completion in time for the 2009 football season.

The University of Toledo today announced a $1 Million gift from Hal and Susan Fetterman for the Building Champions Capital Campaign. The gift is earmarked for the indoor practice facility that will be built adjacent to Savage Hall and used by several sports teams at UT, including the football team.

This is the first major donation that has been earmarked for the indoor practice facility, which has a completion date set for 2009.

Hal and Susan Fetterman are long-time supporters of the University of Toledo and have been Rocket Fund donors since 1991. They have also established the Scott Raymond Fetterman Memorial Scholarship Fund for University of Toledo engineering students.

Plans for the indoor practice facility will be unveiled some time in 2008. The facility will be complete and ready to use in time for the 2009 football season.

The facility will include a 100 yard football practice field, a basketball/volleyball practice court, and an indoor track.
