A prospect that college recruiters have started to warm up to is Evanston, Ill., defensive tackle…
Commitment No. 3
Farr is rated the #33 defensive tackle prospect in the 2008 recruiting class by Scout.com and is also listed as a three star prospect. However, coach Johnson said that Toledo has recruited him to play on the offensive line. The 6-4, 270 pounder had offers from Toledo, Cincinnati, Minnesota, and Illinois.
Given Toledo's troubles on defense this year, particularly the lack of a pass rush, Danny Farr could wind up on the defensive side of the ball at some point.
This is a huge pickup for Coach Tom Amstutz and the Rocket football staff, as the first public verbal that is rated three stars by the Scout.com recruiting service.
