Seven Rockets are named to the 2007 All-MAC team, along with senior punter Brett Kern being named 2007 MAC Special Teams Player of the Year. | |||

The University of Toledo has landed seven players on the 2007 All-MAC team announced earlier today. Three Rockets made the first-team All MAC list in senior offensive tackle John Greco, senior running back Jalen Parmele, and sophomore safety Barry Church. Greco was named first-team All-MAC for the third consecutive season, while Parmele and Church were named first-team All-MAC for the second consecutive season. Senior punter Brett Kern, sophomore wide receiver Stephen Williams, and sophomore kicker Alex Steigerwald were all named second-team All-MAC today. Junior wide receiver Nick Moore was also named to third-team All-MAC. The 2007 All-MAC football team is selected by the head coaches at the 13 Universities in the Mid-American Conference. Senior punter Brett Kern was also named MAC Special Teams Player of the Year, as voted on by the MAC News Media Association. Kern is also a finalist for the 2007 Ray Guy Award, given out to the nation's top punter. He will be in Orlando, Fl on December 6th, for the announcement of the winner of the 2007 Ray Guy Award. |
