Rockets Whip Eastern Michigan 52-28

Toledo improved to 5-5 on the season with a 52-28 victory over Eastern Michigan. The win is Toledo's 3rd straight and fourth in the last five games.

Don't look now, but Toledo has won three in a row and four of their last five games after a 52-28 beatdown of the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Senior running back Jalen Parmele rushed for 168 yards and 3 TD's on 22 carries. Backup sophomore running back DaJuane Collins added 79 yards and 2 TD's on just 9 rushes, and 3rd string true freshman Gordon Warner added 56 yards on just 3 carries for Toledo.

Aaron Opelt had another good night through the air, completing 17 of 29 passes for 276 yards and 2 TD's. Junior wide receiver Nick Moore had 10 receptions for 119 yards, while sophomore wide receiver Stephen Williams had another big night with 6 receptions for 150 yards and 2 TD's.

Toledo led the game 28-7 at halftime. Opelt was 11 of 14 for 200 yards and 2 TD's in the first half and Stephen Williams had 5 receptions for 140 yards and 2 TD's. Jalen Parmele also had 11 rushes for 100 yards and 2 TD's at halftime.

Toledo's next game will be on Tuesday, November 13th at Ball State. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
