Toledo leads for Sharp

The Midnight Blue and Gold are out in front for the SLB from Plum SHS in Pittsburgh, PA. Sharp was in town for last Saturday's Purdue game for an unofficial visit. See how it went.

With a few offers already in hand from D-1 schools, Jon Sharp already knows who's well out in front for his services.

How many offers do you have as of right now, and who are they?

I have Eastern Michigan, Army, and Temple as of right now. A couple other schools are showing interest right now, but they haven't offered yet.

What other schools are showing interest?

Mainly Ohio, Iowa, and Akron.

Would you say you have a Top 3-4-5?

Oh Toledo is definitely at the top. I just was there on Saturday for the Purdue game.

With Toledo at the top, do you have a 2 or 3?

Uh.. Toledo's really at the top.. But I like Ohio and Akron too.

What's your current 40 yard dash and max bench?

My 40... I ran at a recruiting camp a 4.55 and my best bench max-out is a 305.

Are you planning on making it to Toledo for an official visit?

Yeah. Me and my mom want to go there for an official visit for sure.

Any idea on when you'll make it up for an official vist?

Um. I don't know right now. Maybe after the season but maybe before. I don't know just yet. I just got to find a good time cause it's season time right now, and it's hard to find time with school and the games.

Do you have a timetable for when you'd like to make a decision?

I want to take my official visits first for sure. The thing I'm looking for too is how the players are. At Toledo I know a couple of them are from the Pittsburgh area.
