Kempt, 6-foot-5, 200-pounds, is now starting over in his recruitment, and interest is increasing for the three-star quarterback. Earlier Wednesday, Kempt scheduled an official visit to Oregon State, and later in the day he added a BCS offer.
"Wanted you to know I was offered by Connecticut this evening," Kempt stated. "First off, it's a great school and I'm excited to get up there on a visit and really get a feel for the school and the program."
"The football program is only part of the attraction for me, because it is a great academic school as well," he added. "They want to either take a mid-week visit next week, or a mid-week visit the week after. I am still going to visit Oregon State in two weeks."
After being committed to Cincinnati since last summer, Kempt decommitted from the Bearcats following former head coach Butch Jones resigning to take the Tennessee job.
